Welcome back to school from the Blizzard of 2013. I hope that everyone had a warm, fun, and safe time. We hit the ground running today with an extension of our study of chromosomes. Having examined how chromosomes move during mitosis and meiosis, we are now examining the material chromosomes are made of - DNA! We will examine how DNA codes for the genetic traits that you see in people and other organisms and then we will examine how these traits move from one generation to the next as genes.
The homework tonight is to complete the "True/False and Draw-It" side of the BrainPop worksheet posted below. Also, please recall that there were a number of extra credit opportunities mentioned in class!
