ClassworkYour goal for today was to be able to make a quantitative observation (measurement) using a ruler. Your measurement should have been used metric units. See the slides from today by clicking on the pdf file below.
HomeworkComplete the sheet below. Make sure you read and annotate the passage and then answer the questions fully. The final question will take some thinking and explanation! We will go over it in class tomorrow and then I will collect it.

the metric system was introduced by France in 1799 the metric system is a decimal systems of measurement in the metric system is based of the power of ten. in the metric system there is kilometers, hectometers,decameter ,meters,decimeter,centimeters, and millimeters (these things can end in liters and grams.) i can remember the order of them because of King Henry Doesn't Mind Drinking Choclote Milk. ( k.h.d.m.d.c.m.)
